The Life Course Development Program at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research is initiating two new studies, the Detroit Aging and Memory Project (D-AMP) and the Social Relations Study (SRS). D-AMP will focus on adults aged 65 and older, with a particular emphasis on individuals of Middle Eastern and North African American descent, as well as African American and White participants. The study aims to examine the impact of social factors, including immigrant status, lifestyle behaviors, and language use, on health outcomes.
