The Population Health podcast presents “Keeping Kids Active at Home and All Year”. Only one in four children in the United States has been physically active at recommended levels. As winter gets closer, it may seem more difficult to keep children active during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rebecca Hasson, professor at the U-M School of Public Health, discusses programs that help teachers, school faculty and school boards that help students reach their learning outcomes and ways families can stay active.
