According to a new report by the University of Michigan and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), hydrogen can play a significant role in the effort to transition from fossil fuels to clean energy in Michigan. Greg Keoleian, director of the Center for Sustainable Systems at U-M’s School for Environment and Sustainability, says the study will provide information on the role hydrogen can play in reaching the decarbonization goals of Gov. Whitmer’s Michigan Healthy Climate Plan.
