Did you know that Digestive Disease Week, or DDW, is the largest meeting in the world involving physicians, researchers, and other professionals dedicated to gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and related surgery? Their research topics include the low FODMAP diet and its effects on irritable bowel syndrome, or IBS, and lipodystrophy and its connection to liver disease.
