Since its launch, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has allowed scientists to capture images of the cosmos unlike any other. A group of international researchers, including researchers from the University of Michigan, have released the first images of the Orion Nebula, the solar system’s richest and closest star nursery. With the photos, researchers are focused on studying the Orion Nebula as its environment is similar to the environment that our solar system was created, making it perfect for exploring the life cycle of stars.
