Election security experts, such as computer science professor at the University of Michigan J. Alex Halderman, have spent most of the last two years debunking voter fraud and tampering claims on election results. Since 2020 progress has stalled in the efforts to fix existing election security issues with the tidal wave of new threats, Halderman notes. The faculty expert also highlights some current problems with election security and ways voters can be a part of the solution this November.
