Kicking off the University Musical Society’s 2025 season is jazz musician, composer, and storyteller Etienne Charles. His performance, themed around climate change, will take the audience on a sensory journey through the sounds, stories, and musical idioms of at-risk coastal communities. The performance will be complemented by powerful imagery and short films depicting disappearing coral reefs, oyster beds, sand dunes, mud volcanoes, and more.
This event is open to the public at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre. Tickets are available now, with options at a range of prices.
