Billions of dollars a year are spent on “pipeline” programs to increase diversity in STEM, but there is little rigorous evidence of their efficacy. Join the U-M Ford School of Public Policy as they continue their Education Policy Initiative Speaker Series on November 14, 2023. The talk will feature Silvia Robles, an economist, and researcher at Mathematica. Robles will discuss the evidence collected from a recent study of STEM summer programs for underrepresented students. This in-person event is free and open to the public.
