Richard Miech, U-M Institute for Social Research professor of research and lead author of a new study, discusses the rapid increase in teen e-cigarette use over the last five years. The findings from the study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, note that this use has essentially reversed a two decade-long decline among youth who made attempts to quit nicotine and failed.
