Researchers found that a new drug, known as ML355, when combined with synthetic high density lipoprotein, or sHDL, may be a successful way to prevent blood clots. This prevention may also impede serious cardiovascular events such as stroke, and was found to be effective in mouse models without causing major bleeding.
