A new interdisciplinary study seeks to better understand how behavioral and environmental factors affect the transmission of respiratory viruses in child care settings. Emily Martin, one of the project’s lead researchers and associate professor of epidemiology at U-M’s School of Public Health, shares insights on their project, MITIGATE FLU (Multidisciplinary InvesTIGation to Ease inFLUenza). The researchers highlight their project plan, breaking down each thrust of the project.
