University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design alumna Lia New gave a presentation at the annual Firearm Safety Among Children and Teens symposium. New conducted a literature that examined thirty-nine art and design works to find patterns and a typology for firearm injury prevention. Her work highlighted the relationship between social engagement and collaboration.
