Presented by Michigan Law

Emerging technology is making an impact on systemic issues, such as forced labor. During the Law and Mobility Program hosted by Michigan Law and Professor from Practice Luis C.deBaca, ’93 at the University of Michigan School of Law, there is a strong dichotomy between technology and its enablement of forced labor as well as its escape from it. During the conference program, other panelists discussed efforts that can be made by transportation companies to focus and understand their supply chain, which will further alleviate the correlation between forced labor and the transportation sector.
