Immunotherapy has been a significant breakthrough in cancer research, but not all patients experience the benefits of the treatment. Researchers from the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center found that some patients during immunotherapy treatments have seen tumors grow or even “hyperprogress.” Weiping Zou, M.D., Ph.D., discusses the different immunotherapy levels and types of tumors that patients have with different types of cancers.
