Cirrhosis, or chronic liver damage that is often caused by severe alcohol abuse, impacts the quality of life of those that have the condition and can be deadly down the road. Those with Cirrhosis also have to deal with muscle cramping and a host of other symptoms. Elliot Tapper, M.D., a hepatologist and associate professor of internal medicine at Michigan Medicine, discusses the multitude of challenges that patients with Cirrhosis may face and if pickle juice may help to resolve some symptoms.
