U-M Poverty Solutions faculty affiliates David Porter and Joshua Akers discuss key data from research concerning Black Michiganders. Porter and Akers highlight data regarding the percentage of Black Detroiters who were wearing masks early in the pandemic and who voted yes on Proposal R in support of the Detroit City Council creating a reparations task force. The faculty experts further highlight findings from their research.
