In a time where crowds are beginning to thicken, and health precautions are lessening; we see a rise in viruses once held in check by masks and other health mandates. The highly contagious norovirus is now on the rise, and the minimal particles needed to contract the virus allow it to transmit easily. Christine Wobus, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the U-M Medical School, discusses the emergence of the norovirus and ways to avoid it.
