Song Mi Lee, U-M School of Information doctoral student and lead author of a new study discusses how any individual online can be a cyberbully, not just certain groups who have premeditated or impulsive aggressive tendencies online. The study looked at specific behaviors that were considered harmful and psychological characteristics that would predict how internet users would behave in an online conflict. Some factors included impulsivity, disinhibition, reactive/proactive aggression, and more. Lee further highlights results from the research study.
