What is the Wolverine Forum?
The Wolverine Forum is a global online community of University of Michigan alumni that empowers our alumni to connect with friends, former classmates, and the University around common interests, professional and life experiences, Michigan clubs, teams or areas of study, or aspects of their identity.
It is also home to the online Alumni Directory that allows alumni to find friends and former classmates, harness the power of the Michigan network, and reconnect by sending messages to one another.
Whether you’re trying to reconnect with graduates of your school, college or unit, or individual departments, clubs, or programs within them, the Wolverine Forum is the tool to help you keep the conversation going with your alumni.
Wolverine Forum Guidelines
Below are some general guidelines to follow when sharing communications about the Wolverine Forum with your constituents:

Parts of Platform:
- Alumni Directory: Online directory where alumni can search for and message alumni directly
- Communities: Individual communities can be found on the ‘Find a Community’ page and are created, managed and operated by University or Alumni Association staff or alumni
Taglines: Keep the conversation going.
Positioning: Connect with communities of alumni that honor your identity, expand your professional network, and discuss your passions.
Alumni Association Naming: Please refer to us as the Alumni Association rather than use the abbreviation of AAUM.
