Fall Colors Retreat

If you think Michigania is great in the summer, you should see it in the fall. You can surround yourself with spectacular autumn colors at the annual Fall Color Retreat. Enjoy the crisp, cool nights. Take a walk underneath a canopy of colored leaves and leave the kids with their grandparents for this adult only trip. Fall at Michigania is an experience you won’t forget.

Our program includes lodging, receptions, meals and activities. Additional charges may apply in our Ceramics/Arts & Crafts area and Camp Store that will be charged to your account and settled at checkout on the final day.

The Alumnae Council Education Center offers meeting space, comfortable lounges, complete dining and kitchen facilities and six fieldstone  fireplaces. With captivating views of the surrounding wooded area, wildlife and lake, it’s an inviting space that encourages conversation or  quiet reflection. The program hosts a current faculty member to lead a forum that offers two presentations on their field of expertise, each concluding with a camper Q&A session. Guest cabins are nestled adjacent to Walloon Lake offering either a one or two bedroom with its own private bath and shower. Cabin mates share a spacious gathering room, convenient for a game of cards, conversation or a quiet hour of reading. Vaulted ceilings, spruce paneling and magnificent views provide a charming atmosphere. All meals are served in Michigania’s Education Center dining room featuring rustic iron chandeliers and a gracious fireplace. Elegant candlelight dinners are only one of the special touches that make the Michigania experience unforgettable.

This event is reserved for adults only.

Ceramics and Arts and Crafts is the place at Camp where you can create stunning artwork for your home, thoughtful gifts for your friends and family, and tangible memories to remind you of your time at Camp Michigania. Camp Michigania offers an archery target range and a field archery range. The archery target range is open daily for scheduled classes. Classes cover basic archery skills and safety. When classes are not taking place and staff are present, the range is open and campers seven years and older (or entering 2nd grade) are welcome to shoot. For more experienced archers, the field archery range is available most mornings and some afternoons.

Tennis instruction for children is scheduled several times throughout the week. Adult lessons include basic tennis technique and strategy and are scheduled throughout the week as well.
