How to pay for college is on the minds of most college applicants and continuing students. The process of searching for scholarships online can be frustrating. However, knowing where to look is half the battle. Here are resources that can help to begin your search.

U-M Alumni Club Scholarships

Many of our alumni clubs offer scholarships to entering and/or continuing U-M students from their regions. Please contact each club directly to inquire about scholarship details, application deadlines and selection process.

U-M Alumni Affiliate Organizations

Affiliate groups provide alumni with an opportunity to interact and network with others based on similar interests and experience. Several affiliate groups are pleased to offer scholarships to entering and/or continuing U-M students who have an affinity to their group. Please contact each affliate organization to inquire about scholarship details, application deadlines and selection process. 

U-M Office of Financial Aid

The U-M Office of Financial Aid administers federal, State of Michigan, and University of Michigan scholarship and grant programs for both entering and continuing U-M students.

Private Scholarships

Many private scholarships are offered each year by a variety of corporate, professional, trade, governmental, civic, religious, social and fraternal organizations. The amounts of the scholarships range from small honorariums to thousands of dollars.
