- Eligibility: Pigskin Picks is open to
University of Michigan alumni, students, faculty, staff and others
possessing or eligible to possess a U-M uniqname, and their friends and
family members (each contestant must be registered by an individual possessing
an active U-M uniqname). Employees of the Alumni Association of the
University of Michigan are not eligible.
- Disputes: The Alumni Association, the
University of Michigan, and the contest sponsors will not be responsible
for incomplete, lost, or late entries or for the failure to receive
entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind,
including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or
software, whether originating with the sender or sponsor. In the event of
a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the
owner of the user name/password used to sign in and submit the entry.
The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined
to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the contest. In the event
of a dispute, decisions made by the Alumni Association are final and binding.
- Agreement: By entering, each entrant accepts
and agrees to the Pigskin Picks rules.
- One entry per person: Any contestant who
attempts to enter under multiple identities will be disqualified.
- We're here to have good clean fun: Any
contestant who participates using a username deemed inappropriate by the
Alumni Association will be automatically disqualified (this includes obscene,
lewd or tasteless identifiers—let's keep it clean!). The contest should
not be used in any way associated with wagering.
- Use of identity: Winner agrees to the use
of his/her name and likeness without any additional compensation by sponsors for publicity.
By entering Pigskin Picks, the winner acknowledges that the Alumni
Association has the right to publicize his/her name, likeness, the fact
that he/she won, and all matters incidental thereto.
- Winners: Winners will be notified by email.
Return of prize notification as undeliverable or failure to respond by
winner may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be
selected. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes.
- No purchase necessary. Federal, state, local and municipal laws and
regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
