Things to Bring
What to Pack for Michigania's Winter Programs Dress at Michigania is informal. Recommended clothing is casual and warm! Don't forget winter socks, boots, gloves, hats, and jackets. You may wish to bring a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt for cross country skiing and an extra pair of comfortable shoes to wear in the Education Center (rather than the heavy boots you'll probably wear to and from your cabin). Cross country skis may be rented by those who provide height and shoe size information by December 15 (Forms will be mailed out in November). Refrigeration is not available in the cabins. Refrigeration for medications and an ice machine are available in the Education Center kitchen. Ice buckets will be provided, but you may wish to bring a larger cooler for in-cabin storage. Towels, washcloths, bed linen, blankets, pillows, and pillowcases are provided. You may bring an electric blanket if you wish. Laundry facilities will not be available during your visit. The Michigania Store, offering convenience items and soyvenirs, will be open during your visit. Last Minute Checklist:
