Get away from it all without going too far at Michigania-East Register online: Michigania 2008 Summer Online Application
Michigania-East is located on a 25-acre peninsula in upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains. It's just northeast of Lake George and about 30 miles from Fort Ticonderoga, near Chestertown. The camp is the site of Point O' Pines Camp for Girls for most of the summer, but in mid-August it's home to Michigan alumni and their families. Low weekly rates cover lodging in comfortable cabins, most of your activities and three delicious meals a day. Recreational activities include archery, arts and crafts, sailing, canoeing, and rowing, ceramics, field sports, horseback riding, swimming, and tennis.
Everyone is welcome to join the fun—singles, single parents with children, and couples with or without children. Parents will be thrilled to know that our trained and skilled staff run scheduled activities for kids, so you can take a swim while your child plays. See a typical day's schedule. Week 1: Friday August 22 to Friday, August 29
