Bringing a little Michigan spirit to Texas

On Monday, June 12 through Saturday, June 17, 2006, alumni, friends and University staff joined Habitat for Humanity to construct The Little Big House in the Southeast Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. With sunny skies and temperatures hovering at 100 degrees, the team worked alongside the Davis family to build their new home. Volunteers completed a variety of construction tasks, including everything from cutting and hammering wood, to landscaping and yard work.

The group used the wall sets and frames that were shipped to Dallas after recently being constructed on the Ann Arbor campus by alumni, friends and staff.
