Demonstrate your pride in U-M while taking advantage of the convenience of a permanent e-mail address. E-mail forwarding is a service that re-routes e-mail messages sent to “you@umich.edu” to your everyday e-mail account – free of charge! When you change e-mail providers, simply change the e-mail address you’ve listed in the University’s electronic directory and future messages will be forwarded to your new account immediately.
To use the e-mail forwarding feature, you must have access to the Internet, maintain an e-mail account (e.g. through a commercial provider, your employer, etc.) and have a U-M uniqname and password. All U-M alumni can take advantage of free e-mail forwarding.
Email forwarding requires a U-M Uniqname. See our U-M Login Help page if you don’t have a uniqname or have forgotten your password.
After you have your uniqname, sign up for email forwarding at the ITCS Web site.
