Long-time credit counselor Kathryn Greiner will teach participants to analyze income, expenses and debts, and then create a plan for spending, bill-paying and saving. Special attention will be spent on topics especially relevant to new professionals including paying off student loans, the costs of relocating to a new city, purchasing a business wardrobe and more.

Your Fork Is Not a Shovel: Business Savvy for the Young Professional

Most of us can tell the difference between a salad fork and soup spoon, but do you really have all of the skills needed to successfully negotiate the business lunch, company party or networking reception? Elizabeth Freedman has made a career of showing folks the etiquette ropes and her energetic and fun style make this session a n annual favorite. Business attire requested.
Each session begins at 6 p.m. at the Alumni Center (200 Fletcher Street).
Pizza and pop will be provided free at each session (except the February 24 event, which includes a mocktail reception, featuring a variety of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and beverages).
