On the memo line, please indicate the program to which you are donating, for example, "Michigania" or "Chicago Club Scholarship." You may also designate the person you are honoring, if applicable.
When gifts are made in memory or honor of someone, the Alumni Association notifies the honoree's family so they may acknowledge the gifts. Please include a note indicating who should be notified of your gift. If you do not know, the Alumni Association will contact the appropriate relative. In addition, the University of Michigan will send a receipt for tax purposes.
