About the AuthorMartha Bennett Stiles has written a number of books for young readers, including Darkness Over The Land, an ALA Notable Book. Mrs. Stiles lived for a number of years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before moving to her present home in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
