The Alumni Association Travel Program offers more than 50 exciting travel packages for members each year. The Alumni Association carefully selects tour operators and trips and believes there is an excursion for every interest, taste and budget. The diverse trip selections include adventures of short duration; land programs; wildlife safaris; river, sea and ocean cruises; as well as family travel programs and the popular travel and learn programs with seminars and other educational elements.

The Alumni Association’s travel program is recognized as a leader in the field, having established itself among the top three alumni travel programs in the United States in terms of size, quality and innovation. Travel vendors are carefully screened to ensure that partners are highly reputable and experienced. Destinations are selected with the highest standards for traveler safety. The Alumni Association monitors travel announcements or warnings and modifies any program as necessary to protect passengers.

The travel program is an exclusive Alumni Association membership benefit. Travelers, whether alumni or not, must be members if occupying their own room. This includes all friends and family members, who can join as associate members if they are not graduates of the University of Michigan.
