Restore your Michigan connection in an idyllic setting in the mountains of Northern California, nestled deep in the Stanislaus National Forest at Pinecrest, California. Sharing space with our friends from UC-Berkeley at the Lair of the Golden Bear, at Michigania-West, you’ll spend your days in organized activities, find adventure on your own, or just sit back and relax.
Guided nature hikes introduce campers to the plants and wildlife of our amazing landscape. Campfire shows, sing-alongs, and lessons are all part of the music program, while tie-dye, T-shirt painting and ceramics bring out the artistic spirit in everyone. Sports activities include softball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, ping-pong, horseshoes, paddle tennis, shuffleboard, and, of course, swimming. Boating, fishing, golf, and horseback riding are also available at nearby independent facilities (not included in camp fees).
The camp is open to all members of the Alumni Association and their families, including singles, single parents with children, and couples with or without children.
