Camp Michigania offers a variety of activities for family members of all ages, from horseback riding to arts and crafts to tennis. Regardless of your interest, Camp Michigania-East is designed to build lifelong family memories and connect you with other U-M families. An example of a typical Michigania-East schedule is below.

Camp Michigania East Typical Daily Schedule

7:30 a.m. Wake-up bell
8 a.m. Breakfast
9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Low and high impact aerobics
9 a.m. – noon Childcare for children aged 0-2 in boat house – back play room
9 a.m. – noon Childcare for children aged 3-4 in boat house – front play room
9 a.m. – noon Children aged 5-12 morning classes (i.e., arts & crafts, field sports, boating, golf, etc.)
9 a.m. – noon Horseback riding adult trail/ring
9a.m. – noon Waterfront open for morning classes, lap swimming, sailing & water-skiing
10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Women’s tennis instruction
10 a.m. – noon Fitness center open
11 a.m. – noon Men’s tennis instruction
12:15 p.m. Lunch
1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Childcare for children aged 0-2 in boat house – back play room
1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Childcare for children aged 3-4 in boat house – front play room
1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. 3 to 12 year old tennis instruction
1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. Children aged 5-12 afternoon classes (i.e., tennis, swimming, etc.)
1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. Adults arts & crafts
1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Horseback riding children/family
1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Waterfront open for general use — swimming, sailing, boating & water-skiing
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Teen golf instruction
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Juggling
2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Teen tennis instruction
2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Adult golf instruction
3:00 p.m. – 5 p.m. Fitness center open
5:30 p.m. Dinner
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Waterfront open for boating only
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Children’s volleyball
7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Adults volleyball camper vs. staff
9 p.m. – 11 p.m. Movie for teens
