Support Michigania

Since it was founded in 1962, Michigania has held a special place in the hearts of U-M alumni, faculty, staff and their families. Philanthropic support of Michigania protects the legacy of this alumni treasure and ensures that the camp will remain affordable for young families, helping to continue the heritage and shared experience of “Michigania magic” for future generations.

Owned and operated by the Alumni Association, Michigania is located on pristine Walloon Lake in scenic Northern Michigan. More than 4,000 adults and children become a part of the U-M family camp community each summer. Campers are attracted to the area’s peaceful natural beauty and the opportunity to participate in a variety of recreational activities. Many loyal visitors return year after year and are eager to pass on the Michigania experience to younger generations.

If you are interested in making a gift to support Camp Michigania, you may donate online or via postal mail.
