In June 2005 President Coleman traveled to China to help build partnerships to support U-M’s potential in a globalizing world. Those partnerships led to this Web site, social networking, a project that is updating Chinese alumni data, and events in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and other parts of Asia.
Alumni, friends, new students & parents are invited to U-M’s Asia events from May 24-31 in Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong & Shanghai, hosted by a delegation of U-M faculty/staff.
The University of Michigan launched an account on Weibo in late April 2012 and has nearly 700 followers!
