University of Michigan Alumni Association

Seasonal Programs & Events

As the seasons change, so do the opportunities to connect with fellow Alumni Association members in-person or virtually as we cheer the Wolverines on to victory across a variety of sports.

Football Season

It’s no surprise that football season is our busiest time. Here are just some of the ways you can share your Michigan pride each fall:

  • Big House Tours: Join a behind-the-scenes tour for Alumni Association members and experience the Big House from the ground level.
  • Go Blue Homecoming Tailgate: Looking to meet up with old friends or make some new ones? There’s no better place to do so than the biggest and best tailgate in the land, with more than 3,000 members in attendance.
  • Bowl Tours – These organized trips—by Wolverines, for Wolverines—include chartered flights, hotel blocks, and reserved sections at bowl games. You’ll be in the company of some of the biggest U-M fans on the planet.
  • Game-watching Parties: Can't Hail in person when game-day arrives? Join hundreds of alumni in your area at a football-watching party hosted by your local club.

Basketball and Hockey

In the winter and spring, there are still lots of member benefits to indulge sports fans.

You could attend Alumni Day at Crisler, which includes pre-game appetizers during a talk by one of the basketball coaches, as well as a seat in the “Maize Rage” section. Or take March Madness to the next level with MB3—Michigan Basketball Bracket Bonanza—a members-only NCAA tournament pool. We also offer select tickets and access to hockey and Olympic sports.

Olympic Sports and Other Athletics Benefits for Members

Occasionally, we'll provide access to experiences and discount tickets to Olympic sports at U-M, as well as club game-watching events for tournaments and regional meets and games. Review an expanded list of Athletics benefits for members, and then get your own inside pass. Become a member today.
