Program namePep rallies for women's and men's basketball teams
Program dateFebruary 28, 2002 and March 7, 2002
How was this program promoted?Emails and postings on the teams' respective Web sites
How many people were responsible for planning this program and about how much time did it require? Two or three people were responsible for the planning of each event. The total time required for both events was approximately four hours.
How much did this program cost the club?$250
How much did the club charge participants? No charge
What "sold" this program to members (what was the highlight)?Chance to meet the coaches, administrative staff and parents of the teams
How many people attended? We had a total of about 10 people show up for both events.
Is there additional information you would like to share?Timing is everything. The time that games were played (mid-afternoon) probably contributed to the turnout. When we did this in 2001, the women's team played in the evening, and we had a better turn out.
