Cancellations in writing received on or before Dec. 8, 2017, are refundable in full, less a $200.00 per person administrative fee. Group air is NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellations received after Dec. 8 are non-refundable unless a qualified replacement can be found, in which case a full refund will be made, less a $200.00 per person administrative fee. Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of your notice of cancellation.
Hotel rooms are limited to our contracted capacity. Applications will be processed on a priority-based first-come, first-served basis to the capacity of our available space. Payment in full must accompany this application.
Optional Group Air, purchased in connection with the Land Only Package, is non-refundable. In accordance with their filed tariffs, all airlines and any agents are governed by regulations issued by the Department of Transportation and will act in accordance with these regulations with respect to any circumstance (e.g., flight delays). Baggage fees will apply. Seat assignments are not guaranteed and will be assigned by Delta Airlines.
While every effort has been made to honor your hotel preference, it cannot be guaranteed. The tour company has the right to substitute hotels when necessary and add or delete hotels as needed.
Under 2 years old. There is no charge for infants on the tour; however, a game ticket is required for a child of any age.
CHILDREN (Ages 2-17)
Children must share room with parent(s) and do not count in room count total. Two adults rooming with two children would pay the double rate for the adults and the children’s price for the children. An adult must accompany children. One adult sharing with one or more children would pay single adult rate and children’s price for the children.
TRIPLE AND QUAD ROOMS
Triples and Quads refer to how many adults are in the room and not to how many beds are in the room or size of the room. Most Triples and Quads have two double beds. Some involve the use of cots or couches with pull-out beds.
DISABILITY SERVICE NEEDS
Persons with physical disabilities requiring wheelchairs or special assistance must notify Conlin Travel, Inc. as to the nature of the disability at the time of booking. Persons requiring extraordinary assistance must be accompanied by someone who can and will be totally responsible for providing all required assistance.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended, as it covers trip cancellation, travel accident, medical, and baggage insurance. University of Michigan, the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, and Conlin Travel, Inc. have no responsibility in whole or in part for any delays, delayed departure or arrival, missed carrier connections, loss, death, damage, weather, strikes, acts of God, circumstances beyond our control, force majeure, war, acts of terrorism, quarantine, criminal activity, expense, accident, sickness, injury or death to person or property, or mechanical defect, failure or negligence of any nature howsoever caused in connection with any accommodation, restaurant, transportation or other services or for any substitution of hotels or of common carrier equipment beyond our control, with or without notice, or for any additional expenses occasioned thereby. University of Michigan, the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, and Conlin Travel, Inc. are not responsible for personal injury or property damage arising out of the act of negligence of any direct carrier, hotel or travel service, or other person rendering any of the services being offered in connection with the tour. If due to weather, flight schedules, or other uncontrollable factors such as suspended air service due to circumstances beyond our control, you are required to spend any additional nights, you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers, and meal costs. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the tour due to these causes or voluntary cancellations. Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely. The issuance or acceptance of such tickets and coupons shall be deemed to be consent to the future conditions that they shall not become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or any other services, for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect to person or property, howsoever caused or arising. Conlin Travel, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw the tour, to refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour at any time, or to make changes in the published itinerary whenever in their sole judgment conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour. The airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyances. The Passage Contract, in use by the company concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the company and the purchaser of these tours and/or passengers.
If we make major changes prior to departure, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund. The following are major changes: 1) a change in the departure or return date, unless the change results from a flight delay experienced by the air carrier, or an overnight return flight. 2) a change in the origin or destination city, unless the change affects only the order in which cities named in a tour package are visited; and 3) a price increase of more than 10 percent occurring 10 or more days before departure. In no event can we increase your price less than 10 days before departure. If a major change must be made in the program, we will notify you within 7 days after first learning of the change, but in any event, at least 10 days prior to the scheduled departure. If, less than 10 days before scheduled departure, we become aware that a major change must be made, we will notify you as soon as possible. Within 7 days after receiving notification of a major change, but in no event later than departure, you may cancel your reservation and you will receive a full refund within 14 days after canceling. If a major change occurs after the departure of the flight which you are unwilling to accept, we will refund, within 14 days after your scheduled return date, that portion or your payment which applies to the services not accepted. If we must cancel the charter, we will notify you in writing within 7 days of the cancellation, but in no event later than 10 days before the scheduled departure date. We have no right to cancel the charter less than 10 days before departure, except for circumstances that make it physically impossible to perform the charter trip. If that occurs, we will make a full refund to you within 14 days after cancellation.
The rights and remedies made available under this contract are in addition to any other rights or remedies available under applicable law. However, we offer refunds under this contract with the express understanding that the receipt of that refund by a passenger waives any additional remedies.
